Britains most common gauge. Its origins lie in the fact that British locomotives are smaller in cross section than those in the US or on the continent. This meant that they couldn't fit the motors into the models. Therefore a 00 locomotive is approximately the same as a H0 locomotive and will run on the same track (16.5mm).
